You Were Born Rich - Finding Your Dreams

You were born rich and you can turn your life into anything you want. Unfortunately, you are the one person getting in the way of that. You have accumulate a massive amount of negative influences and attitudes along the way ultimately keeping you from what you want. During these travels through life you've collected many tools to deal with the hardships such as denial, television, alcohol and other forms of depressants. Similarly, you've also used caffeine and quick fixes to create the highs in your life.

You shop for pleasure only to feel guilty later since you shouldn't really afford it. You want to be that person in the advertisement, though. Not a care in the world. Unfortunately, the advertisements aren't real. They don't care about you; just about separating you from your money.

Why did life turn out this way? Well, you have been listening to everyone but yourself. You've listened to family, to teachers and, of course, to your boss. These folks have a huge vested interest in your performance, not well being, your performance. They don't get pats on the back for making sure you're happy. I know it's hard to hear.

You can be insulated from negativity and high expectations. You need to remove yourself from the negativity. You have to understand your dreams. Most importantly, you have to pace yourself. Do you think that getting to this dream life will be quick? Absolutely not. You have to re-condition yourself, un-train yourself and battle all the naysayers that want you to be miserable with them.

Your dreams are the signpost to your life. They are telling you were you need to be headed and what your true potential is.

Say you always just love the smell of a used bookstore or ravage any book that crosses your path. Maybe you were meant to work with books; at a library, bookstore, as writer, an agent or editor. Or maybe black and white photographs usually stops you dead in your tracks and you examine that photograph before continuing on with your day. Is photography supposed to be part of your world; as a studio photographer, an assistant or graphic designer? The signs are there. They are living in your dreams.

You have to want to start, though. Sitting at home, waiting for someone to tell you what to do only gets you sitting and waiting. It is up to you to get the support and information you need. I've identified some of the problems and some ways at looking at how to start fixing them. You have to take the steps to change.
